Al Overdrive isn't his real name, but there is a good story behind it.

For five years he worked in Forensics, photographing crime scenes and producing images for their media department. Encouraged to take a pseudonym, he pursued his editorial work in parallel. Soon the name stuck, look through his portfolio and you will understand why.

His distinctive fresh and strong style seamlessly ties together his fashion, commercial and editorial work. Through actively engaging his subject he is able to capture their essence to produce compelling and revealing images. It is this passion that led to him establishing a diverse roster of satisfied clients from a variety of genres.

Al's quiet confidence and 'can do' attitude encourages a relaxed atmosphere on-set where he brings out the best in the people and the places he photographs; His enthusiasm quickly spreads to those around him and is reflected in his portraits.

PhotoPro magazine proclaimed "he is now doing the work he was put on this earth to do", speak to him about a shoot and you will quickly agree.

Al lives in London and enjoys commissions that give him an excuse to travel and meet new people.
